The Family Practice is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. Previous experience working in a general practice is essential, as we are looking for someone who can confidently step into the role with a good understanding of primary care.
Health Care Assistants in general practice play a crucial role in delivering and assisting clinical staff in providing treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education.

* BP recording and monitoring
* Urinalysis
* Basic wound care
* ECG recordings
* Diabetes reviews
* Health promotion activities
* Accurate recording of all patient interactions and procedures on the clinical system
* Ensuring clinical areas are clean, stocked, and compliant with infection control standards

Person Specification
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
* Experience in General Practice
* Knowledge of QoF
* Experience with Emis Web
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
