Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Chef De Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Senior Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests whilst working alongside our Junior Sous Chef.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
* Assist in meal preparation and ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
* Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure quality control
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
* Participate in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages
* Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed
Skills
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant environment
* Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is highly desirable
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated
