Our production facility located near the village of Thorganby between York and Selby is partly powered by AD, Renewable heat and solar PV. The purpose of the Engineer role is to ensure timely and effective installation and maintenance of machinery, and the production facility to enable efficient operations.
Carry out mechanical and electrical work – both reactive and planned/preventative
Be able to fault find on a wide range of machinery and equipment that involves electrical, mechanical and fluid power systems
Work continuously towards Hartley’s culture of Performance.
To adhere to all health and safety rules on site and in the fields, with all accidents and near misses reported as they occur
the Engineering team work on a rotating shift pattern
Apprentice trained to at least level 3 or other relevant qualifications/experience
Experience within the food and drink industry (desirable)
