Job Description:
Are you compassionate, motivated and driven to truly make a difference? We are looking for a Specialist Support Care Manager to join our Specialist Residential team. This role is ideally suited to someone aiming to enhance their career in leadership with demonstrable experience working with individuals with intensive complex and high-risk behavioural needs.
Using positive interventions, you will work within a bespoke care environment, enabling and supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and challenging needs to lead valued lives and work towards individual meaningful outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities:
* Report to the Registered Manager, supported by a Deputy Manager and Senior Support Workers.
* Deliver high-quality service and develop the staff team.
* Collaborate with in-house specialist support services, including Learning Disability Nurses, PBS Practitioners, and others.
* Help deliver emotional and practical care to vulnerable adults, transforming lives daily.
* Support the implementation of policies, procedures, and business objectives.
* Maintain, monitor, and evaluate records for effectiveness.
* Establish and maintain relationships with care teams, supported individuals, and colleagues.
* Manage service operations during the Registered Manager’s absence.
* Ensure the highest quality of person-centered care in a residential setting.
* Monitor standards of care delivered by staff.
* Contribute to team collaboration, respond to work instructions promptly.
* Assist in staff management, training, supervision, and mentoring.
* Facilitate person-centered activities promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.
* Commit to providing excellent care for individuals with mental health, complex needs, and disabilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
* At least QCF level 3 in health and social care, working towards level 4/5.
* Experience in the care sector, understanding regulatory frameworks and standards.
* Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, and challenging behaviors.
* Computer literacy, strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
* Passion to support individuals in achieving goals.
* Experience developing relationships with service users, families, health professionals, and authorities.
* Commitment to enabling independent and fulfilled lives.
* Ability to lead and support staff effectively.
* High personal integrity and dedication to service quality.
