Community Staff Nurse (South Cotswolds) — Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust
Join to apply for the Community Staff Nurse role. The service covers 8am to 8pm, with a shift system across 7 days including weekends and bank holidays. The post is offered on a permanent basis at 37.5 hours per week, with flexible working arrangements supported by the Trust.
Responsibilities
To excel in this role you will require excellent communication skills, the courage to make clinical decisions and a willingness to develop your potential. The team operates in a community nursing setting and supports patients in homes and community-based environments. The role requires undertaking statutory and mandatory training and the ability to undertake physical interventions as needed (fitness for physical intervention assessed by Occupational Health).
Qualifications and requirements
* Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
* Post-registration experience is helpful but not essential
* Excellent preceptorship programme for newly qualified nurses
* Comprehensive induction program with support from the practice development team to help acquire and maintain competencies
* A valid UK driving licence and use of own transport for business purposes are essential
* Lease Car Scheme and Salary Sacrifice Car Scheme available for qualifying staff
* Ability to undertake all statutory and mandatory training; physical intervention capability as required
