At Ward Security, we’re looking for a dynamic Security Manager to take charge of operations at one of our key sites – a thriving Technology Park in Nuneaton. You’ll lead a dedicated team of officers, provide strategic direction, and build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partner organisations to deliver exceptional security standards.
Position: Security Manager
Pay rate: £44,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 50 hours per week
Location: Nuneaton CV10
What You’ll Do
* Provide operational and strategic leadership to a large on-site security team.
* Develop and implement tailored security procedures to safeguard people, property, and assets.
* Build trusted partnerships with clients, tenants, and external stakeholders such as local authorities and emergency services.
* Lead on risk management, proactively identifying and mitigating potential threats.
* Chair and contribute to key stakeholder and security meetings, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
* Oversee the training, development, and performance of all officers, ensuring compliance with SIA and site requirements.
* Manage all equipment, accountability processes, and site documentation, including CCTV operations and data release.
* Support emergency response efforts and lead crisis management procedures to maintain safety and minimise disruption.
* Drive a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* An experienced security professional with proven leadership skills.
* SIA Licensed (CCTV Licence essential).
* Holds a driving licence.
* Confident using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Skilled in technical security measures, including CCTV and access control systems.
* A strong communicator who can engage and influence at all levels.
* Motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering the highest standards of service and compliance.
* An inspiring leader with a genuine passion for team development and client satisfaction.
