Multi-Skilled Joiner – Social Housing
Location: Harrogate & surrounding areas
Contract Type: Ongoing agency work
Start: Immediate
We are currently recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to work for a well-established contractor delivering repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.
The Role
You will be carrying out a variety of joinery and general maintenance tasks within occupied and void properties, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* All aspects of 1st and 2nd fix joinery
* Door and window repairs and replacements
* Kitchen fitting and minor adaptations
* Basic multi-trade tasks such as patch plastering, tiling, and minor plumbing (desirable)
* Working within tenants' homes in a professional and respectful manner
* Completing job-related paperwork and updates via mobile devices
Requirements
* Proven experience as a multi-skilled joiner, ideally within social housing
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery (preferred)
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to pass a DBS check
* Own tools essential
* Good customer service and communication skills
Vehicle & Expenses
* Company van may be provided, or
* Use of your own van, with fuel and mileage expenses paid to be discussed and agreed.
