A leading EPC specialist in turnkey substation delivery is looking for a Lead Civil Engineer to join its UK team. This role covers full project lifecycle from tendering through to construction and handover.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead civil and structural design, review drawings, calculations, and documentation
2. Supervise civil designers, resolve site queries, remedial works, and snags
3. Support CDM and Temporary Works duties
4. Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and industry standards
5. Evaluate subcontractors and contribute to tender documentation
6. Liaise with UK Transmission System Operators and major utilities
7. Develop project requirements, budgets, and delivery plans
