Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Multilingual or bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as they will enhance our guest experience but this is not essential to the role.
Responsibilities
* Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
* Manage reservations and handle guest inquiries via phone and in person.
* Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
* Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest accounts.
* Address guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
* Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Maintain the reception area in a tidy and welcoming manner.
* Assist with administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
* Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential.
* Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an advantage but not essential.
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly disposition.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
* Proficient in using computer systems for reservations and billing purposes.
