Dental nurse (Trainee or apprentice considered) required to join a family friendly dental surgery in the heart of Dorking, Surrey.
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic dental nurse to join our growing team of dental nurses, hygienists, receptionists and dentists for 3-4 days a week (inclusive of Saturdays)
The Nurse / Trainee must already be registered on a recognised dental nursing course and must be hepatitis B immunised to be able to work.
Responsibilities:
-Assisting with reception tasks when required
* Maintaining clinical standards and paperwork for CQC compliance
* Assisting the dentist or hygienist during procedures
* Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
* Developing dental x-rays
* Assisting with patient management and comfort
* Maintaining accurate patient records
* Keeping dental practice clean with routine cleaning
* Working reception and covering desk
Requirements:
- IF Trainee - To eventually obtain a Dental Nurse certification or relevant dental assisting experience
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Basic computer skills for record keeping
