Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year Requirements:
* 2+ years experience in an IT Infrastructure Engineer, Infrastructure Support or Technical Support role
* Strong experience with Windows Server
* Experience supporting Linux environments (Debian desirable)
* Hands-on experience with VoIP / SIP technologies, such as SIP proxy servers, NAT, reverse proxy and platforms like 3CX, Freeswitch or STUN
* Good networking and security knowledge, including routers, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs and DMZs
* Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSMS and writing SQL queries
* Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar)
* Exposure to Microsoft Azure (IaaS, vNets, AD, HA, monitoring) is highly beneficial
* Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills
* Certifications in Azure, Microsoft, Linux or Cisco are beneficial but not essential.
Responsibilities:
* Deploy, manage and support cloud-hosted and on-premise infrastructure platforms
* Support VoIP / SIP-based application environments used for emergency communications
* Migrate legacy on-premise platforms into cloud environments
* Provide remote and on-site technical support to diagnose and resolve incidents
* Maintain and upgrade Windows, Linux, network and application components
* Ensure infrastructure aligns with security, resilience and compliance standards
* Fully document systems, changes, incidents and resolutions
