Job Overview
Operations Assembly Operators are a key part of our Production team, involved in a wide variety of duties across our manufacturing floor which are essential to the smooth and efficient production of our high quality fire-rated doors.
Key Responsibilities
* Fit ironmongery to doors to a world class standard.
* Pre-hang doors onto door frames accurately and efficiently.
* Use power tools and hands tools safely and effectively.
* Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
* Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
* Support stock takes and inventory audits, submitting accurate and reliable counts.
* Ad-hoc duties as required to support the needs of the business.
Key Competencies
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
* A willingness to learn new skills and follow detailed instructions.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
* The ability to work with your hands and experience with power tools is essential.
* A counterbalance forklift license is beneficial but not required, training can be provided.
* A positive 'will do' attitude and the ability to embrace change and work at pace are desirable.
Physical and Environmental Conditions
* Ability to perform heavy lifting (efforts are made to limit this as much as possible).
* Work is in a noisy environment (ear plugs provided).
