We are investing in our Commissioning service, particularly focused around the sourcing of older persons care home placements and data analysis and we are looking to recruit a Commissioning Officer to join our team on a permanent, full time basis.
On a day to day basis you will provide commissioning and brokerage advice in relation to internally and externally provided social care services on behalf of Ceredigion County Council, liaising with internal and external stakeholders including providers, Health Board and care management teams.
You will also provide an effective and efficient brokerage service and arrange the delivery of external provider services in a cost effective manner that meets the specified requirements and assessed needs.
We are looking to recruit an individual:
- with a commitment to the delivery of quality service provision through contractual arrangements to ensure best value
- with an ability to prioritise personal workload
- with an ability to learn new areas of knowledge quickly and maintain effective record/reporting systems
We welcome applications from non-Welsh speakers. All successful applicants requiring support to learn/improve their Welsh language skills will be offered funded lessons, during work time, to help reach the desired standard.
