Are you an engineering-minded sales professional with a flair for developing tailored proposals from complex process control enquiries?
You'll play a crucial role in winning new business and nurturing existing relationships by turning client challenges into actionable, costed, and innovative engineering solutions.
The Opportunity:
Working closely with internal teams, you will lead the bid process for both new builds and refurbishment machine build projects involving liquids / process control.
You'll be the bridge between complex engineering requirements and commercial success, ensuring customers receive clear, professional, and technically robust proposals.
With significant input into technical design choices, tooling options, and implementation strategies, you won't just be formatting quotes you'll be actively designing the commercial approach. From handling technical enquiries to arranging customer meetings and negotiating commercial terms, this role offers high autonomy and strategic input.
Key Responsibilities:
* Compile detailed and accurate proposals inc significant input on technical design choices, tooling requirements, and implementation strategies
* Engage with existing and potential clients to support new business
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate technical input and commercial viability
What We're Looking For:
- Strong understanding of engineering principles relevant to water treatment, process control (food and bev), or complex bespoke plant equipment- Ability to design, develop, and articulate complex technical proposals
