The role requires motivating, developing, and challenging your team to improve delivery operations. Experience in warehouse or transport management is essential, and the position is based at one of our delivery locations.
You will be responsible for
* Leading your team to ensure efficient, safe trading that meets customer service standards.
* Managing delivery costs and customer charges to meet targets.
* Identifying efficiency improvements and setting challenging payroll cost targets.
* Understanding the local market to provide the best service and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Managing your team to meet customer service needs, engaging with customers, and using feedback for improvement.
* Collaborating with regional teams to identify opportunities and develop or enhance ways of working.
You will need
* Previous experience in deliveries/transport is essential, along with management CPC and warehouse management experience.
* Strong customer relationship skills and ability to develop new ideas.
* Talent development and team motivation skills to foster a customer-focused culture.
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder influence.
* Effective planning and organization skills.
* A hands-on approach is beneficial.
