Service Engineer – Nights
Location: Otis Vantage London, 10th Floor, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG, UK.
Shift Pattern: Sunday – Thursday 23:00 – 07:00 (Nights)
Typical Responsibilities
* Carry out breakdown and repair work on all equipment across site escalators within the portfolio to achieve continual operation.
* Work within the London Underground network, managing the portfolio of escalators within it.
* Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first‑time fix.
* Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship.
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in Lift and/or Escalator Engineering with significant experience in service and maintenance of escalators.
* Ability to work nights Sunday – Thursday starting at 11:00 pm – 07:00 am.
* In‑depth knowledge of a variety of different brands of equipment.
* Hold a valid UK driver’s licence.
* Flexibility is important; overtime may be required.
* Good skills in mechanical and electrical engineering.
* Committed professional with safety as your priority.
* Comfortable communicating to others.
* Curious, adaptable, and able to work alone or in a team.
* Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
