We have vacancies at the Roman Baths for seasonal Museum Porters to join award-winning Front of House team for Summer 2026. The Roman Baths welcomes around 1 million visitors, and we are passionate about providing engaging experiences that bring family and friends together to create memories that will last a lifetime.
Contract type: Seasonal, Fixed term until 31st October 2026
Hours: 6-hour shift per day. Variable options starting from 21 hours (3/4 days alternating) per week; or 24 (4 days) per week. All contracts include working alternate weekends and some late nights.
This is an ideal opportunity to join our team with varying contract options, working in a busy, enjoyable, unique historical environment.
Duties include collecting and transporting audio guides from the museum exit to the main reception and responding to visitor’s queries, such as helping them with directions.
Applicants must have a good general education, with a high standard of personal presentation, a friendly manner as well as good customer care and communication skills. Experience of manual handling would be an advantage.
Full training and a uniform will be provided.
