An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Home Manager to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation that supports children and young people in specialist residential settings.
As a Registered Home Manager, you will be leading and managing the daily operations of a residential children's home, ensuring care standards meet regulatory expectations.
This full-time role offers a salary of up to £61, and excellent benefits.
You will be responsible for:
1. Leading and supporting a team of residential care professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality care
2. Ensuring the home complies with Ofsted requirements and achieves positive inspection outcomes
3. Promoting the emotional, physical, and educational development of young people
4. Managing safeguarding protocols and ensuring the safety and welfare of all residents
5. Facilitating smooth transitions, including admissions and discharges
6. Maintaining detailed records and preparing for regulatory inspections
7. Overseeing audits and checks aligned with regulatory self-evaluation processes
What we are looking for:
8. Ideally have at least 1 year experience working as a Registered Manger, Care Manager, Home Manager or in a similar role.
9. Proven experience in a within Ofsted-regulated children's homes
10. Demonstrated success in achieving ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted ratings
11. Level 5 Diploma (or working towards) in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
12. Full UK manual driving licence
13. Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
