This is a fixed-term post for 12 months providing specialist MSK Outpatient physiotherapy to children and young people (CYP) in outpatient clinic settings. The post holder will be an autonomous practitioner providing a specialist physiotherapy service to a designated caseload of children with a range of musculoskeletal issues and/or physical and mobility difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing specialist MSK Outpatient Physiotherapy services to children and young people with various MSK conditions within Hillingdon.
* Providing specialist advice, programmes, and treatment plans to colleagues regarding the management and care of CYP with MSK conditions.
* The post-holder may be required to supervise Band 5 physiotherapists and students.
You will work across small outpatient clinics at GP surgeries, health centres, and the Hillingdon Child Development Centre at Wood End Clinic.
A significant proportion of these children will have English as an additional language (EAL). The post holder will be expected to manage their own caseload across multiple clinic sites and work collaboratively with CYP, parents/carers, and colleagues in health, education, and social services in planning and delivering services.
Candidate Profile:
* An enthusiastic, HCPC-registered Physiotherapist seeking part-time employment on a fixed-term contract.
* Excellent paediatric musculoskeletal skills.
* Interest in clinical audit, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement projects.
* NHS physiotherapy experience is desirable.
