JOB TITLE: Credit Controller
CONTRACT: Permanent
HOURS: 40 hours per week, 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
START: ASAP
SALARY: Up to £30,000 depending on experience
LOCATION: Poole

The role:
* Monitor and manage the debtor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
* Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers.
* Set up and maintain customer credit limits.
* Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and letters.
* Resolve payment disputes and negotiate payment plans.
* Prepare and distribute regular reports on credit control activities and debtor status.
* Liaise with internal departments to resolve billing issues.
* Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
* Assist with month-end closing and reporting.
What You'll Bring:
* Proven experience as a Credit Controller.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
* Good communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of credit control principles and practices.
