Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Duties
* Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety standards and best practices.
* Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
* Develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends while considering customer preferences.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
* Monitor food quality during preparation and service to ensure consistency and excellence.
* Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies promptly and effectively.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
* Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, culinary trends, and food safety regulations.
* Demonstrated expertise in cooking, food preparation, and presentation skills.
* Previous experience in managing kitchen operations within a fast-paced environment is essential.
* A passion for hospitality, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both staff and customers.
