Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding guest services, ensuring that every patron feels welcomed and well cared for. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting in maintaining a clean and organised restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests with a friendly attitude, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
* Take accurate food and drink orders, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate.
* Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
* Assist in food preparation as needed, collaborating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
* Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve any issues effectively.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and excellent guest experiences.
* Perform basic maths calculations for order totals, ensuring accuracy in billing.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
* Strong guest service skills with a passion for helping others.
* Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
* Basic maths skills for handling payments and order calculations.
* A willingness to learn about menu items and food preparation techniques.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £9.00-£11.00 per hour
Experience:
* Hospitality: 3 years (preferred)
* Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
