Description
* Full commercial leadership of a major responsive social housing contract
* Oversight of multiple workstreams, including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, and heating
* Leading, managing, and developing the divisional commercial team
* Cost control, valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
* Accurate financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting
* Close collaboration with operational teams to support performance and margin delivery
* Subcontractor procurement, payments, and commercial compliance oversight
* Identification and mitigation of commercial risks and opportunities
* Ensuring contract adherence and best-practice commercial governance
Profile
A successful Divisional Commercial Manager should have:
* Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor within responsive social housing
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams in a high-volume environment
* Strong track record in leading and developing commercial teams
* Comprehensive understanding of social housing contracts and commercial frameworks
* High level of commercial and financial acumen with strong analytical skills
* Effective stakeholder management across clients, internal teams, and supply chain partners
* Willingness to travel across the West Midlands as required
