OpCourage North of England is a collaborative of NHS and VCSE organisations who deliver the NHS England commissioned Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Service across the North of England.
CNTW, as the lead provider of the collaborative, is recruiting for a Pathway Manager to oversee the operational and clinical delivery of the central OpCourage North of England Single Point of Access team.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and efficient care within the OpCourage North of England Single Point of Access team.
This will include oversight of the delivery of clinical work, including flow across the OpCourage North of England clinical pathways as well as oversight of triage, assessment and brief interventions delivered within the Single Point of Access team.
The role includes the management of staffing resources within the Single Point of Access, the development and delivery of operational processes and the interface and engagement with clinical teams and stakeholders both internally and externally.
The post holder will be expected to provide effective leadership and day to day line management as well as providing oversight and clinical input where required, including undertaking some clinical duties where required.

Person Specification
Education and Qualification
* First Level Registered Nurse RNMH, RMN, RNLD or equivalent first level qualification e.g. Social Worker, OT, Clinical Psychologist, other.
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience of coordinating and managing staff resources.
* Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team using a community based approach.
* Experience of providing community based mental health services.
* Experience of leading teams and taking on a leadership role or project management.
* Commitment to Partnership working both multi-agency and multi-disciplinary.
* Coordinating and supporting staff in the day to day provision of clinical services.
* Experience of Performance Management.
* Awareness of human resource issues and budget management.
* Undertaking of Appraisals.
Skills and Competencies
* Evidence of leadership skills/delegation.
* Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation and conflict management.
* Evidence of effective organisational skills.
* Expert clinical and managerial supervision skills.
* Evidence of maintaining accurate and contemporaneous record keeping.
* IT Skills.
* Knowledge of electronic (RIO) data systems.
* Demonstrate change management skills.

£49,387 to £56,515 a year pro rata – actual salary will reflect contracted working hours.
