I’m currently working with a major client who is looking for a highly experienced Chartered Geotechnical Engineer (ROGEP) to join their team on a 12-month contract, based out of Manchester with flexible hybrid working.
This is a senior, client-facing role suited to someone with 15+ years’ experience, who is confident managing technical delivery while engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Role
* Lead on the preparation and delivery of Ground Investigation and Baseline Reports (GBRs).
* Act as the technical authority on geotechnical matters.
* Liaise closely with clients, providing expert advice and regular updates.
* Monitor and report on contractor performance, ensuring standards and deadlines are met.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project environment.
What We’re Looking For
* Chartered Engineer (ROGEP) – essential.
* 15+ years’ geotechnical experience, ideally across major infrastructure projects.
* Strong track record of delivering GBRs.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to combine hands-on technical oversight with strategic input.
