About The Role
The Junior Finance Business Partner - Brands sits at the heart of the Commercial Team, partnering closely with the Sales, Marketing and Development functions to provide financial insight, challenge, and leadership. You will play a key role in shaping pricing, promotional strategy, customer negotiations, and long‑term brand growth.
Act as the primary finance partner to the Branded Commercial team, providing insight, challenge, and strategic decision support.
Build strong cross‑functional relationships and translate financial data into clear, actionable recommendations that drive profitable growth.
Lead financial planning cycles for the branded portfolio, owning P&L performance and ensuring accurate, transparent forecasting.
Monitor trading performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and margin improvement initiatives across customers and categories.
Support pricing, promotions, and customer negotiations through robust financial modelling, business case evaluation, and post‑event analysis.
Deliver timely, insightful reporting and analysis on revenue, margin, mix, and commercial KPIs, driving continuous improvement in tools and processes.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring commercial finance experience, ideally gained in a business partnering, commercial finance analyst, or equivalent role. They will be studying towards or will have recently achieved a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) and able to apply financial insight in a fast‑paced, commercially driven environment. The role requires the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders, along with strong Excel skills to support analysis and modelling. Experience within FMCG would be highly beneficial, but it is not essential for the right person with strong analytical capability and a proactive, collaborative approach.
