Coventry Building Society have an exciting new role for a Senior Portfolio Management Officer, to join CIDO.
The role holder will facilitate and support multiple delivery disciplines within the portfolio, including risks, dependencies, finances, and resources, ensuring adherence to best practices. Working in close collaboration with distributed and central PMO colleagues and the CIDO delivery community (all levels) to support effective change delivery and implement metrics needed to assess progress.
The Senior PMO will also be accountable for managing Jira incidents and support request queues, identifying and implementing config enhancements based on user experience, maintaining filters and dashboards (reporting and data quality), and enabling Jira adoption and supporting initial set up.
About you

You’ll be passionate about ensuring CIDO and the wider CBS business delivers great outcomes through supporting business goals and objectives, seeking to understand how decisions and dependencies impact delivery.
To be successful in this role, it’s essential that you’re able to demonstrate:
* Advanced user of Jira admin with experience of managing incidents, implementing config enhancements, maintaining filters and dashboards (reporting and data quality) and enabling Jira adoption.
* Proven knowledge of delivery control frameworks especially in Scaled Agile e.g. Risk Management, Dependency Management and experience of defining and monitoring KRIs and KPIs.
* You’ll have excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate with and influence colleagues at all levels
* Previous experience of planning and organising. Proven experience of process analysis, definition, and documentation, having worked within Scaled Agile Framework and/or other agile delivery.
* Self starter who is able to work with minimal supervision with strong growth mindset and proven problem solver
Desirable skills for this role are:
* Excellent written, verbal communication and analytical skills across all stakeholder groups.
* Ability to interpret dashboards; ability to analyse data and present it in a way that tells a story and provide insight to all audiences to influence decision making and understanding of dependencies.
* You’ll be intellectually curious, you encourage ideas, are highly self-aware and emotionally intelligent, you understand your impact on others and take time to understand all colleagues and help them to operate at their best. Understanding of continuous improvement cycles e.g. Plan, Do, Check, Adjust
