Role Summary You will program, set, and operate Mazak CNC turning centres, managing the full process from program creation to final inspection. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Mazak machines using Mazatrol, SmoothX/SmoothG or ISO G-code.Develop machining strategies and interpret engineering drawings/GD&T.Set up Mazak lathes (Quick Turn, Nexus, Smooth, Integrex).Install and measure tools; set work and tool offsets; complete safe prove-outs.Run production, adjust offsets, change inserts/tools and ensure accuracy.Carry out first-off and in-process inspection using precision measuring tools.Record quality data and resolve machining issues (chatter, taper, finish).Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain 5S standards. DesirableExperience with Integrex or live tooling.CAM knowledge (Mastercam).Lean/5S experience.Forklift or crane certification.Level 3/4 engineering qualification or apprenticeship.What Next?
