Nights Maintenance Engineer
Location: Hull
Salary: £50,000 – £52,000 + Overtime
We're working with a leading manufacturer who are looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to strengthen their night shift engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable business that invests in its people and offers excellent earning potential through overtime.
What You'll Be Doing
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to keep machinery and site services running smoothly.
* Diagnosing and repairing both mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
* Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
* Recording maintenance tasks accurately and contributing to continuous improvement.
* Reacting quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and keep production moving.
* Working closely with production teams to resolve engineering issues and support operational performance.
What we're looking for
* Multi-skilled maintenance background (both mechanical and electrical).
* Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing, engineering, or production environment.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively on your own initiative and as part of a team.
* A commitment to safe working practices and high standards.
