Behaviour Cover Supervisors needed in the Wirral Area
North West/ temporary / £110 - 150 per day
Role
TeacherActive is seeking a confident and experienced Cover Supervisor to work in a specialist education setting on the Wirral. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience leading lessons and maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
You will play a key role in ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absence, supporting pupils to remain focused, motivated, and engaged throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
* Maintain a calm, safe, and productive learning environment
* Apply strong behaviour management strategies consistently
* Support pupils to engage with learning and complete set work
* Communicate effectively with staff regarding pupil progress and behaviour
* Experience leading lessons in a school or similar setting
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Confidence working with pupils who may present challenging behaviour
* A professional, calm, and adaptable approach
* Experience working in alternative provision or with pupils with additional needs
* Relevant education or youth work qualifications
