We’re hiring a DevOps Lead to join a leading UK digital infrastructure organisation and play a key role in shaping the future of software engineering through AI and modern DevOps practices.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage an agile engineering team while staying close to the technology—owning the full technical stack and driving delivery of cloud-based applications.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead and manage a team of engineers, analysts, and QA specialists in an agile environment
* Own the end-to-end tech stack (frontend, backend, APIs, cloud, databases)
* Drive delivery of scalable, secure cloud-based solutions
* Oversee CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps best practices
* Work closely with stakeholders to shape roadmaps, priorities, and delivery
🤖 AI-Driven Engineering (Key Focus)
* Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Copilot, code generation) in day-to-day coding
* Embed AI across the software lifecycle (design, build, test, documentation)
* Drive adoption of AI-first engineering practices across the team
* Ensure AI usage is secure, governed, and aligned to best practice
✅ What We’re Looking for
* Proven experience leading software engineering or DevOps teams
* Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
* Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Git, and Agile delivery
* Full-stack understanding with a passion for modern engineering practice
* Exposure to or interest in AI-assisted software development
