Hawksworth have a new requirement for a ‘Information Security Specialist’ to work for a Global Investment Bank. This opportunity offers a Basic salary of up to £85,000 plus a yearly Bonus as well as a substantial package offering. You will also be able to work on a hybrid basis, x3 days in the office and x2 days in the office. Central London location (Liverpool St/ Bank area).
The job:
We need an experience and ideally IT Security certified Information Security Specialist. You will identify, analyse and follow up on security vulnerabilities in the Systems, help maintain accurate IT asset inventory across various security platforms (e.g. CMDB, AV, SIEM), Monitor access and permissions, Participate and maintain Active Directory and File Share security controls, Review and distribute threat intelligence alerts to relevant stakeholders, Monitor security alerts identified by SOC and CSIRT, work with the CERT team, Support and maintain ethe IT Security Risk register, contribute to security reporting and tracking security risk indicators.
Required:
* 5+ years in IT Infrastructure Security, preferably in Investment Banking
* Focused on Application Security
* Good Endpoint protection, anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-ransomware and encryption technologies.
* Good Active Directory, File share security controls knowledge/ experience
* Proven experience in securing, auditing infrastructure components and configurations on virtualization platforms, Windows, and Linux.
* Working experience with network infrastructure components, IPS, SIEM, WAFS, load balancers, proxies, and firewall management systems.
* Solid understanding of incident management and forensics for security-related issues.
* CISSP or other relevant certifications (e.g., Network+, Security+, MCSP, CNA).
