Salary: £45,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements: We require a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent commercial experience. We require strong experience with enterprise patch management and endpoint management tools such as Ivanti Endpoint Manager, Microsoft SCCM, ManageEngine, NinjaOne, or similar technologies. We require strong PowerShell scripting experience. We require experience deploying and supporting Microsoft operating systems across desktop and server environments. We require experience supporting multi-platform infrastructure environments. We require proven experience managing patch testing and deployment environments. We require a strong understanding of Microsoft Windows desktop support. We require experience supporting Linux/Unix desktop environments such as Ubuntu. We require experience working within ITIL environments, including change and release management. We require an understanding of quality and service management standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 20000. We require strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP. We require experience with Microsoft Active Directory technologies, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, WSUS, and DFS. Responsibilities: We ensure the availability and performance of endpoint management and software deployment platforms. We manage and maintain patch management, OS provisioning, software distribution, and endpoint configuration services. We develop and maintain operational processes for system builds, patch creation, software packaging, deployments, reporting, and security controls. We investigate and remediate security vulnerabilities across desktop and server estates within agreed timelines. We support security hardening and compliance activities across front-office platforms and applications. We improve endpoint delivery strategies, including application deployment, antivirus management, security patching, driver and firmware updates, and operating system deployment. We manage documentation relating to systems, processes, and operational procedures. We own the full lifecycle of patch deployment activities from testing through to production rollout. We support platform upgrades, migrations, and access control management. We participate in technical projects involving software deployment to bespoke hardware and devices. We escalate issues appropriately and contribute to incident resolution. We support training and knowledge transfer activities following technical changes. We work collaboratively with internal teams, stakeholders, and customers where required. We provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support and contribute to root cause analysis and technical project delivery.
