This role is ideal for an experienced Industrial Painter, with knowledge of using 2 pack paint, conventional / pressure pot spray systems as well as spray bake booth operations. This is a varied role inclusive of prepping, sanding, priming, topcoat, sealing, assembly and air assisted painting up to 16 metre products.

About the role
1. Paint spraying heavy engineered, industrial metal
2. Using and working with paint spraying equipment; two pack paint, pressure pot spray, air assisted painting
3. Ensuring accurate and desired finishes for each project
4. Overseeing quality of work and visual inspection
5. Stripping, fitting and re-building parts and products where necessary
6. Work to specific production schedules
7. Complete all administrative procedures relating to paint area
About you
8. Proficient in the use of spray equipment and related tools; 2 pack paint and conventional / pressure pot spray systems is essential
9. Experience of Rail / Aircraft / Fine Finishing
10. Knowledge of spray bake booth operations and general maintenance
11. Previous experience of using an airless spray equipment
12. Able to read and understand engineering drawings and masking instructions
13. A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
14. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
15. Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
16. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas
