KL Talent Solutions is a company specialising in talent recruitment and placement. We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our manufacturing clients growing finance team. As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate financial information and analysis to support decision-making within the organisation.
This role is Multi Site across North Yorkshire with also 2 days WFH
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
* Focusing on cost accounting
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Prepare and review annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
* Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy and integrity
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
* Assist in the preparation of year-end audit schedules and support external auditors
* Identify areas of improvement in financial processes and systems
* Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to management as required
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Professional accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial reporting
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
* Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
* Knowledge of regulatory compliance and reporting requirements
* From a manufacturing background preferred
