Be the RP for a new UK distance-selling pharmacy compounding unlicensed topical medicines. You’ll set up and run safe, lawful services, design and maintain the Pharmacy Quality Management System (PQMS), and keep us inspection-ready at all times in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up. Key responsibilities Act as RP under the RP Regulations 2008; maintain the RP record/notice and daily governance. Design, implement and maintain the PQMS (risk register, SOPs, change control, training, deviation/CAPA, audits) to ensure continuous regulatory compliance. Lead inspection-readiness Oversee unlicensed preparation Ensure distance-selling safeguards Assure records integrity and retrievability (specials register; clinical/production/dispatch records). Run monthly governance: incident/complaint trending, CAPA effectiveness, audit follow-up. Partner with Operations, Clinical, Tech and Suppliers to unblock issues rapidly and support start-up and scale-up. Requirements GPhC-registered pharmacist with a strong governance mindset. Practical experience in any of: online/distance services, extemporaneous preparation, or quality/inspection-readiness. Clear, concise communicator; can brief non-pharmacists and write usable SOPs. Bias to action in a start-up: prioritise, document and close actions; learn on the job. Comfortable owning decisions (release/withhold, refuse, escalate) with sound clinical judgement. Nice to have Dermatology “specials” experience; operations know-how. Start-up/scale-up exposure GMP/Regulatory experience
