Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities
Reporting to Sales Director, you will set and achieve ambitious objectives, including the following core responsibilities:
* Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within our market
* Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients
* Understand client needs, proposing tailored solutions to drive value and growth
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused proposals and presentations
* Stay informed of market trends and competitor activity, providing insightful feedback to shape our strategy
* Maintain accurate records of business development activity and provide regular reports on progress
* Uphold compliance and best practices across all stages of the sales lifecycle
Skills And Experience We Value In Business Development
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
* Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar client-focused role
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
* Confident presenter, able to engage clients and stakeholders at all levels
* Resilient, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Self-motivated with the initiative to work independently and collaboratively
* Experience within the HR and/or Health & Safety consultancy industry would be advantageous.
