Production Chef – Organic Farm Kitchen, Gloucestershire
Salary: £32,760 per annum (weekly pay planned from October 2025)
Hours: 45 hours per week | 5 x 9-hour shifts | Early starts at 05:00 or 07:00

The Opportunity
Join the production kitchen at a leading organic farm in the Cotswolds, renowned for its commitment to sustainability, craftsmanship, and wellbeing. This high-volume, artisanal kitchen produces up to 30,000 hand-cooked units per week, including organic soups, meals, and broths made from the finest ingredients grown on site or sourced from trusted partners.
You’ll be part of a passionate team preparing award-winning food in a beautiful countryside setting, with access to fresh organic produce and a supportive, purpose-driven culture.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a diverse range of organic dishes to recipe specifications
* Weigh, measure, and prep ingredients with precision and consistency
* Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards (HACCP, SALSA, Soil Association)
* Work collaboratively to meet daily production targets with a 98% fulfilment rate
* Support seasonal menu development and innovation when required
* Communicate effectively with Distribution, Technical, and Buying teams
* Assist with stock rotation, ingredient traceability, and detailed record-keeping
* Uphold the business’s sustainability values as part of its B Corp commitments
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience working in food production or high-volume kitchens
* A genuine passion for food and sustainability
* Strong eye for detail with precision in following standardised recipes
* Solid knowledge of food safety and health & safety requirements
* Ability to work independently while supporting the wider team
* Positive, professional attitude and commitment to learning and development
