Operations Manager Location: Ilminster, Somerset About the Role We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Operations Manager at our South West site. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee key operational areas including production, packaging, maintenance, and process improvement. You'll work closely with teams across the site to ensure everything flows smoothly, efficiently and to the highest standard. Reporting directly to the General Manager, and as part of the Senior Management Team, this role is to ensure first class leadership is delivered to the Operations teams. You'll be responsible for leading day-to-day operations across a range of departments and driving continuous improvement in processes and quality standards, working collaboratively with teams to meet business goals. This position will ensure effective management and communication across all areas of the packing process from raw materials receipt through to finished product dispatch. What you'll be doing Oversee and manage all operations and KPIs within the factory Review lead process within to meet BRC and other external and internal audit criteria. Manage customer service level to business agreed targets Lead PIP and CI processes to improve site performance Responsibility for achievement of targets on relevant P&L and overhead cost centres. About you! We're looking for an experienced leader with a history of managing operational teams within a fast paced environment. An excellent communicator with a positive and proactive approach to problem solving. Someone who is able to demonstrate the ability to work in effective teams, displaying a 'can-do' attitude, having the ability to motivate, innovate and lead by example. You take pride in doing things properly - with a focus on safety, quality and consistency.
