WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY
The Data Product Manager will be part of the Kelvatek Business Solutions team and will be responsible for defining and maintaining the Kelvatek data use cases and Data Product Roadmap. The product manager will have a detailed understanding of the DNOs data & digitalisation strategies and will work directly with DNOs to understand their requirements and business drivers and use this input to develop new data use cases and data products. The product manager will act as the main interface into the data solutions team working with the data product owner to schedule and deliver the data product roadmap. The product manager will take a hands on role in the triage and root cause analysis of data issues and then the manage any corrective action with the appropriate engineering or device product management teams.
RESPONSIBILITES
1. · Engagement with customers across all teams to capture requirements and data use cases
2. Support sales team with customer presentations and proposals for data solutions
3. Product Roadmap: Define and maintain the Kelvatek data uses cases and associated product roadmap
4. Work with Data Solutions product owner to schedule and deliver features against the product roadmap
5. Interaction with Engineering, Project Management and Service Delivery teams to ensure successful product roadmap delivery in line with regional requirements.
6. Providing subject matter expertise and business context to the data solutions team
7. Triage and root cause analysis for data quality issues
8. Management of data quality issues through collaboration with engineering and product management teams
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
9. · Proven experience in a product management role.
10. Experience of delivering data and software solutions to customers in the Energy sector.
11. A combination of data management and business knowledge to be able to translate the use case needs into data driven solutions
12. Knowledge of regulatory obligations and industry requirements within UK market – particularly DNO Data & Digitialiosation strategies
13. Strong analytical skills
14. Experience of data analysis / data exploration techniques and tools
15. Excellent communication and presentation skills
