General Practitioner – Operose Health
Location: The Practice Old Hill | Salary: Up to £112,500 depending on experience | Hours: 7 sessions per week
We are looking for GPs with at least 1‑2 years of experience to deliver high quality clinical care and improve access, outcomes and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality clinical care to patients registered at the GP surgery, including consultation sessions (in person and video), telephone triage, prescription signing, medication reviews and other clinical administration.
* Support the operational plan with the clinical leads and local practice team, contributing to list growth, patient satisfaction, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets and resource management.
* Maintain clinical governance activity, audit and the Quality and Outcomes Framework, and contribute to the achievement of CQC standards.
* Act as safeguarding lead, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings and on‑call (excluding out of hours) while adhering to the highest personal and professional standards set out by the GMC.
Ideal Candidate
* Current registration with the GMC and NHS performer list, engaged in at least 12 months of regular clinical work.
* Experienced GP with MRCGP examination or equivalent accreditation and clear commitment to delivering quality patient‑focused services.
* Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and appropriate coding, with working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.
Package
* Annual salary up to £112,500 depending on experience.
* £11,000 per session for newly qualified GPs.
* Full indemnity cover and support to become an F2 supervisor/GP trainer with associated income benefits.
* Six weeks annual leave and one week study leave pro rata.
* Support for SPIN fellowship applications and Tier 2 visa if required, subject to approval by the GMC and GP performer list.
