This is an exciting opportunity to join my client, a highly-regarded, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy known for lending their expertise to a diverse range of projects across the hydrogeology and contaminated land fields. They are actively searching for a capable, enthusiastic Senior Hydrogeologist who is willing to take on a challenging array of projects within the sector, based near the diverse, green town of Telford.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Hydrogeologist include:
8. Overseeing projects and tasks from initial inception through to successful delivery, leading an established team of colleagues
9. Managing client and stakeholder relations
10. Providing specialist hydrogeological support to water and environment projects
11. Producing conceptual site models, data sets, numerical models, and risk assessments
12. Preparing and reviewing technical documents for submission
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydrogeologist include:
13. A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject (e.g. Hydrology, Geology, Civil Engineering, etc.)
14. Extensive experience of working in a hydrogeological role, within a UK-based consultancy setting
15. Field experience, including drilling techniques, soil collection, groundwater and surface water monitoring, aquifer testing, etc.
16. Demonstrable experience of leading a team, mentoring colleagues and delegating workloads
17. Hold Chartered Status with a relevant professional body
18. Possess a full, valid UK driving licence
19. Experience of identifying and pursuing business development opportunities
20. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
21. Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydrogeologist include:
22. A Master’s or Higher Degree
23. Ability to work as part of a cohesive team, as well as on your own initiative
