Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – PPA Cover (KS1 / KS2) Croydon ANZUK Education is working in partnership with friendly, inclusive and well-regarded primary schools across Croydon to recruit experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to provide PPA cover across KS1 and KS2. This role is ideal for confident HLTAs who enjoy leading classes, delivering pre-planned lessons and working across different year groups. The Role: * Covering classes during PPA time across KS1 and KS2 * Delivering pre-planned lessons in line with school expectations * Managing the classroom and maintaining positive behaviour * Creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment * Adapting delivery to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils * Following school policies around safeguarding and behaviour * Providing brief handover feedback to class teachers The Ideal Candidate Will: * Hold HLTA status or have significant experience leading whole classes * Have experience working across KS1 and/or KS2 * Be confident managing a classroom independently * Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills * Be adaptable, organised and professional * Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing Schools Offer: * Welcoming and supportive staff teams * Consistent PPA cover opportunities * Well-prepared lessons and clear expectations * Ongoing support from ANZUK Education * The chance to make a positive impact across the school
