Frameworks Mens Complex Needs service is a 15-bed hostel based in the heart of the Arboretum. We house males 18 with severe and multiple disadvantages including alcohol abuse, mental health, drugs and offending. We need a dedicated member of the team who will work with our service users to develop the life skills that will support them throughout their lives. You may be helping set up a room one day and supporting with budgeting and benefits claims the following day. No two days are the same but you will be making a difference every working day empowering our service users to move on to live independently. No experience needed; we provide full training. Full time shifts available: 8am - 4pm and 2pm -10pm on a rota basis. Duties & Responsibilities Provide face to face & one to one, informal support, dealing with a wide range of individual needs. Respect the rights and responsibilities of Service Users. Advise Service Users to make informed decisions and choices. To build skills and confidence of Service Users. To work alongside support planners to ensure tasks and objectives identified in support plans are achieved within agreed time scales. To prepare/assist Service Users in dealing with any problems arising from their accommodation including repairs, disputes debts, rent arrears etc. To understand and actively promote the Organisations values (Respond/Respect/Empower).
