An engineering firm is expanding their machining division and are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to support the manufacture of high-spec components. The successful candidate will be proficient in either milling or turning, and manual lathe work, with strong experience using Fanuc CNC controls. Key Responsibilities of a CNC Machinist: Set, operate, and program CNC milling and turning machines with Fanuc controls. Machine complex parts from drawings to exacting tolerances. Operate manual lathes for custom and low-volume parts. Inspect components to ensure conformance to engineering standards. Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness, and efficiency. Essential Skills & Experience of a CNC Machinist: Demonstrable experience in CNC machining – milling or turning, and manual work. Skilled in programming and setting on Haas CNC machines desirable. Comfortable interpreting technical and engineering drawings. High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
