Your Role
As a Route Planner in Portbury, you’ll be an essential part of a dynamic team dedicated to keeping our network running smoothly. Your primary responsibility will be to optimize delivery routes, ensuring we meet our operational targets while providing exceptional service to our customers.
In this role, you’ll:
* Adapt to daily challenges and unexpected issues, maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
* Balance the needs of drivers, customers, and account managers, all while staying calm and focused.
* Collaborate closely with depot operational colleagues to review and refine delivery schedules for maximum efficiency.
* Analyze data from various systems to identify areas for future improvements.
What You Bring
We’re looking for an experienced planner who knows the area well. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:
* A solid understanding of driver working time regulations.
* Experience with transport planning software is a plus, but not essential.
* Confidence in using Microsoft Excel and SAP.
* An enthusiastic, can-do attitude with the ability to think logically and overcome challenges.
