As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their purchases. The role available is a key holder position responsible for cashing up tills and closing down the shop, other responsibilities will be given as the successful applicant acquires further knowledge. on how Good News operates.
Duties
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
* Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
* Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
* Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
* Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
* Key holder position will attract additional responsibilities
Requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
* Knowledge of phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone
* Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
* Basic computer skills due to our large home delivery database
* Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given in all aspects of the role
