CNC Miller Setter / Operator / Programmer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £16.00 - £20.00 per hour (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm

The Role
As a CNC Miller Setter / Operator / Programmer, your responsibilities will include:
* Setting and operating 3-axis and 4-axis CNC milling machines
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards
* Completing first-off inspections, prove-outs, and quality checks
* Meeting production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
* Inspecting components using micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.
* De-burring parts using various hand tools
* Working both independently and as part of a team
* Carrying out any other duties deemed appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
* Proven experience setting and operating CNC vertical milling machines
* Strong knowledge of tooling and precision measuring equipment
* The ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
* Good computer skills with a solid understanding of CNC programs
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* The ability to plan work and use initiative with minimal supervision
* A strong work ethic, flexibility, and a positive attitude
* The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Willingness to work occasional overtime, sometimes at short notice
* A motivated mindset and strong team-player qualities
Experience Required
Setting and operating 3-axis / 4-axis CNC milling machines: minimum 3 years
Setting, operating, and programming CNC machines: minimum 5 years
CNC Milling experience: minimum 5 years
