Overview
Prospero Teaching is seeking passionate and dedicated English Teachers to work across a range of well-supported secondary schools in Enfield and the surrounding areas. We welcome applications from both Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.
Contract Details
* Location: Enfield & surrounding North London areas
* Position: English Teacher
* Type of Work: Teaching English across KS3 & KS4
* Start Date: ASAP or January 2026
* Duration: Until the end of the academic year
* Contract Type: Long-term / Temp to Perm opportunities
* Hours: Full-time, 8:00am – 4:00pm (plus parents evenings where required)
* Salary: Paid to Scale
Experience, Training and Qualifications
* QTS or equivalent
* At least 1 year of UK teaching experience (ECTs also considered)
* Up-to-date Safeguarding training (issued within the last year)
To be Eligible for this Role through Prospero Teaching
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
* Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years
