Registration Service: Registration Officer Births & Deaths

Salary £25,183 - £27,269 per annum pro rata | Permanent | 520 annualised hours | Accrington & Burnley

International Sponsorship – This role is not open to international sponsorship.

Join our Registration Service team at Lancashire County Council as a Registration Officer!


What You'll Be Doing

* Undertaking duties attached to the registration of Births, Deaths and Still births.
* Attest routine notices of marriage and civil partnerships.
* Support the delivery of a high‑quality Registration Service.

Work as a member of the Registration team.


Our Service

The Registration Service creates accurate and timely records of all Births, Still‑Births, Deaths, Marriages and Civil Partnerships and makes provision for couples to give notice of their intention to marry or to form a Civil Partnership.


Your New Role

We are looking for someone who is customer focused, confident using digital resources and committed to effective team working. You will have excellent people skills and the ability to work accurately, following work procedures and without close supervision.
